I normally avoid battery powered and was gonna return the stitch one but decided to keep it and put it inside facing the window. Besides the annoyance of manually turning it on and off it's actually brighter than some of my plugged in items outside

At my local store these (and all other 'outdoor' holiday decor) were only 25% off so far. But then again, the fact that most places seem to be starting clearance on Christmas decor BEFORE Christmas this year is a plus.

Great idea. I see there are also USB-powered versions for a bit cheaper for those folks who have a million USB power bricks lying around.

That's the wildest thing I've seen in a while. Never knew this was a thing. I was going to learn how to solder and create my own plug adapters. But this is something that is way simpler
