OP this is not competitive with the ETS since this is a dual action sander. It is intended to be a competitor to the rotex and I will say it is nowhere close to a rotex. This is where you get what you pay for couldn't be more true. This is definitely a step up from a dewalt orbital sander, but is still light years away from a Festool rotex or a Mirka deros.

It's not a bad sander, but don't compare it to a festool because it's like comparing apples to oranges

I disagree. It's not as good as the rotex. But it's not horrible. The Rotex sander cost twice as much. It is not twice as good as this. To be honest this works just as good except it's heavier and a little bit more cumbersome. And louder.
