I had the 25% offer a couple of weeks ago, but now see the message that "You're eligible for an exclusive Free TurboTax Offer. To show our appreciation, we're offering you free access to TurboTax Do It Yourself Premium. Check back for a link by mid-January."

I'm not sure if anyone else's discount changed. I've had free offers up until last year, when I had to pay $5.

I would say a couple of transactions every month, and what I think is an average account size, including retirement.

It says 30% but then links to a page that says 25%. Either way, I think we get better deals in January.

It's not difficult. You go to the top and click on the File Your Tax link, and then it says TurboTax Desktop.

It ALWAYS says that, because they charge $5 for the download version. Did you go to File Your Taxes -? TurboTax Download to see what it says there?
