I can confirm. I have very similar ones. The battery life is not as good though it might die in 4 to 8 months instead of 1+ year.
It works with Apple find my, but it does not have precision finding where it will point an arrow when you're a few feet away.

This is a 4 pack. Or, where do you get an AirTag for $6.25? You better post that deal here!

It works pretty similarly, although it lacks precise geo positioning that the airtags have. It's still pretty good though

I have a set of these that I'm using from the previous sale during BF. These are fantastic for the price. When setting these up with the 'Find My' app use 'Other device' instead of the Airtag option.

Waiting for the cheap Android versions of these things
Prefer Samsung Galaxy SmartTags. They have location history. Which can be a good thing or bad thing. But I look at it as a good thing more times than not.

These look larger than airtags, right? I've been wanting to put one on my ebike and they have tons of holders for real air tags.... these aren't the same small size are they?
These are 1.34" around and 0.33" thick while Apple AirTags are 1.26" around and 0.31" thick.

It works well enough for me, but at times it beeps randomly. Curious if anyone has the experience of opening up the battery compartment? I tried following the manual and uses a coin to twist it open, but I have yet to successfully open any of the four.

Are you talking about the battery? Just twist the two halves opposite and it opens up. I believe you can also remove the speaker just like you can in an AirTag.

I wonder how these compare to the UGREEN FineTrack Airtrackers also posted recently on SD?

Oh my gosh... I bought these 2 weeks ago. Trying to open one today and could not. Either someone glued it on or some gorilla at the factory twisted it on. Striping the plastic with a coin and still not twisting.

The batteries die without much warning unless you manually check on them diligently. And yes, the batteries last a lot less than the AirTags. In other words, they randomly stop working when you need them to work. I ended up buying the discounted AirTags and throwing out these cheap ones out.

I put AirTags in our suitcases when we travel - in this scenario, you only really need to know if it's in the right airport when you land so these might be a good alternative.
I have an AirTag in my suitcase too. On 1 trip to phoenix, I needed the more precise location to find my bag. Yes it showed it was in the air port and I was close to it, but it had been loaded on different luggage carousel that the one the rest of my flight was supposed to be on. Just knowing that it was in the airport would have frustrating.

Buy yah, knowing that your bag wasn't at a different airport would be helpful.

What is 65' indoor but global tracking ? Is it audible onlyn65' feet away or you can only find it within 65' foot near it ?

I bought this when it was $20 for a four-pack a few months ago. Unfortunately, by the time I tried to set it up, the return window had closed. Piece of junk. Doesn't connect. If you're on the Apple ecosystem, spend the money and get an Airtag. Can't speak for Androids though.
