I have this device and have been using it for a few days. So far, no issues aside from a brief period where it kept telling me "navigation wasn't available in my country." I disconnected then connected and fixed the issue. I like not having to manually plug in my phone every time and can see me getting used to this adapter...

Could it be that your car is connecting to your phones Bluetooth and that's why? Maybe disconnecting your cars Bluetooth connection will default the connection to the adapter. I'm looking to add it to a 2021 Volvo.

I actually tested that scenario, too. I deleted my phone's direct Bluetooth connection to my Volvo. It still has issues connecting automatically.

The Volvo is my wife's car, and I drive it once in a while, so she is the primary user. My current hypothesis is having multiple users is what's causing the automatic connection issue. If this can't handle multiple users, however, it wouldn't work out for me.

This was working ok until recently with the latest iOS update. Usually it boots up right away but now it stays stuck to a blank screen but sometimes whatever music I had playing prior will still go through.
It will probably boot up normally after a minute or two but I'm impatient so I just unplug and plug it back in and then it works perfectly.

I wouldn't trust this vendor. I bought it at $3 last week from them and they sat on the order for a week and then canceled it.
