As a fan of the chocolate cups, I found the cereal bar very disappointing in taste.

I'll stick with oatmeal mixed with whey protein and blueberries or egg omelets with turkey, peppers, and onions for breakfast. As a treat whatever, but please dont regular make this anyone in your life's normal breakfast like marketing wants you to do without thinking. (calling them Cereal bars, thats a breakfast food right?)
You'll notice nowhere on the package does it say 'breakfast.' Good for you and your healthy lifestyle. I'll mind my business and not worry about what everyone else is eating.

Warning: if you "stick with oatmeal mixed with whey protein and blueberries or egg omelets with turkey, peppers, and onions for breakfast," you may end up posting comments as baffling as "please dont regular make this anyone in your life's normal breakfast like marketing wants you to do without thinking."

These are about as much a breakfast item as a Snickers bar. Looks good though.

OP calls them breakfast bars. Amazon lists them as #12 seller in Breakfast Cereal Bars.

Sure you're right that this "treat bar" which is made with the branded and heavily advertised breakfast cereal, does not make the claim to be a breakfast bar on the box.

We all have our vices and there's nothing wrong with the occasional sugary treat. Just have no illusion as to how non-nutritious this product is, and how it's clearly intended to be eaten as a to-go breakfast. Not that most Nature Valley granola bars are much healthier.

Unconscionable poisoning of the masses. Someone even posted they hope their daughters will like them so they're ordering two. Sure, Why not start them on the path to type 2 diabetes early. Get 'em while they're young and build some lifelong loyalty and behaviors.
Are you going to shame me too for eating them as a midnight snack with a spoon of peanut butter?

I got the chocolate Nature Valley bars, and they taste nearly as good as these. My guess is they are slightly not as bad for you. I used to eat a sandwich for a midnight snack but I moved to a spoonful of peanut butter and a cookie type bar instead and I was able to lose weight.
