just picked up mine (good). It is in excellent condition and came withouth anything else, just a generic box. I just saw the price drop. I'm considering ordering a Fair that's about an hour away to see if it includes any accesories like a keyboard and/or pen and return the other one for a $70 price difference

That's a significant price drop. I may have to grab another and return mine - huge shame they aren't willing to do price adjustments on open box.
now to weigh if a 2.5hr drive round trip is worth possibly snagging one with less dents and scratches and saving $70…

Just received my open box - excellent and it has a scratch on the screen and no charging cable or pen. Pretty disappointed with the "excellent" rating. Bummer that it's going to get returned.

I picked up my new Galaxy Tab S9 (open box) from Best Buy for $242 (incl. sales tax) last week. They graded the condition as "Fair" (the worst grade for Open Box, AFAIK), but the actual condition was basically 'Like New', with the only defect being that there was still a tiny bit of visible adhesive on the back from when the tablet was stuck to an anti-theft stand. I think this adhesive will come off with some adhesive remover. Paint thinner or acetone might also do the trick, but ideally you'd want to use something less harsh so that you don't accidentally strip the factory-applied enamel/paint.

Surprising it is still available..Thought it was all sold out. Did it come with the Pen?

Only 3 fair condition tablets were left in my area.

Went to the 2 stores and inspected the 3 tablets before purchasing.

All 3 had varying amount of security tag residue and no original box, charger or cable.

1 tablet included Samsung Book Cover Keyboard Slim Case but no pen. It also did not power on, but I assume it was just out of power.

1 was just tablet itself, no case no pen, it also had some noticeable scratches on the back center where the security tag residue was scraped off.

Final tablet had Samsung Book Cover Keyboard Slim Case and Pen, this was the one I ended up purchasing for $249.99
