I don't see 10% back with Prime Visa from the checkout page (just 5% usual). Is this expected?

I would expect the LG store to drop price if Amazon can sell at $1358

Just got this for $1147 on the Partner Store website (was $1350 with an additional 15% coupon).

LOVING this monitor. Using it for productivity, software development, not gaming.

Do you feel the curve is exessive? I can see it being nice for productivity, but for movies and some gaming scenarios I can see the aggressive curve being annoying? what are your thoughts?

I can only speak to productivity scenarios first hand. In that case the curve is kind of needed because otherwise you'd be craning your neck versus just turning your head/swiveling your chair.I can say this - when I slide a window across the screen it gives a very distinct feeling of the content following a curved path / arc and NOT a straight line. Like it's rolling around the inside of a drum/barrel. It's VERY pronounced. Feels quite cool when all you're doing is moving things around a curved screen. But for a movie? Hmmm...I would imagine that could either enhance your feeling of immersion in a movie or make it feel very unnatural. Since this is a gaming monitor I'd guess it's an enhancement for most immersive experiences, but I'm not a gamer.I would never watch a movie on my computer monitor but just for a test I pulled up the Apple TV app and watched some scenes in Family Plan 2 and F1. F1 looked amazing in the immersive/racing scenes. (Reinforcing my feeling that this would be good for gaming.) but Family Plan 2 scenes looked pretty unnatural with the curve. Verdict: I wouldn't buy this monitor if it's your primary screen for movies and TV unless you don't get motion sick easily ;-)
