This looks great to me, I don't know a whole lot about PC gaming though. What's the equivalent GPU on Nvidia side? What limitations does this build have?

5070TI equivalent. This mobo, Wifi 7 and processor 9800x3D (zen 5) futureproof yourself until they go to zen 6

Build it yourself and get a better gpu
Only current gen gpus that are better is the 5080 (+$$) or 5090 (+$$$$)The 5070Ti is slower 5-15% in many current games, but tied or slightly faster in others (1440p)Unless your building for a specific game (or games) both the 5070Ti or 9070xt will do very well

Totally agree. I'd love to find this same build at this price but with the 5070ti but haven't seen anything anyway, and the 9070xt is a great card

You can save an additional $80 on this PC.

$50 with code: 12DEALS
And another $30 if you choose delayed shipping.

I got my pre tax price down to $1670.

Yep. I've been looking since the news broke about memory shortages and the closest I've found to a 9800x3d + 5070ti was a Newegg flash sale a few days ago for something like $1950. I just can't justify the multi hundred dollar difference between a 9070xt and a 5070ti. Being able to grab this for $1670 is one of the best prices we are probably going to see for quite awhile.

Somebody stop me from buying this. I already bought one with the same gfx card but 7800x and 5200 ram in August for 1499 with no tax in my office hooked to a 49" inch ultrawide oled monitor and want one so I can game at 4k in my living room on my oled there. This one would be fairly loud with all the fans and probably wouldn't do well at 4k right? I just don't want to kick myself if these are gonna be a million dollars soon.

If you want 4k gaming native with all the highest settings then this wouldn't do that anyway. You'd probably need the 5090 for that because even the 5080 will bog down on some games. This will definitely do some 4k gaming and if you're willing to use FSR, frame gen, and turn some of the settings down it will do even more. But it's mainly considered a 1440p graphics card if you want all the highest settings. If you already have this card then test the games you want at 4k and see how it works. However if I were you I'd just upgrade the cpu and then see about doing steam link or some other streaming to my living room tv.

I have done steam link but it's not great for fast paced stuff like FPS games such as doom (I don't play multiplayer). I'm just worried that something equivalent is going to be so much more in the future that this would be good now and then if I wanted to upgrade the card a couple of generations later when the world isn't on fire then I could. Plus just the ram and card alone are like 60-70% of the price themselves alone.

I mean yeah, with the way things are going it probably will be more in the future. Heck if you tried to build this yourself right now it'd cost you over $2000 before the OS. If you really want something for the living room then yeah this wouldn't do it. Just don't expect maxed out 4k every game with this system. The good thing is this mobo should support a couple more generations of CPU so in a couple of years you could probably do a cpu and gpu upgrade if you really wanted. If prices ever chill out - which I'm not expecting in the next couple years at least.

Yeah, I'm a dummy and pulled the trigger after my wife said I work hard and I should go ahead and do it.
