Update:-
It seems chatting with Lenovo sales most are able to get this laptop at $1120.30 that is another $110 less than what I had posted earlier.
========
If you missed TG sale, the same config with current discounts and a better GPU (5060 vs 5070) for approx. the same price is on sale at Lenovo portal through custom build.
The only reason I preferred to go this route was to get 32GB RAM which is expensive in today's date. The change from 16GB to 32GB only costs additional $60.

This Legion 5 Gen 10 AMD looks like a portable gaming and creator laptop that also handles AI and productivity work well. The Ryzen AI 7 350 is described as efficient for battery life while still being decently powerful, and the machine is praised for solid build quality, 100W USB charging while gaming, and strong results in Ollama, QGIS, CAD, and Gimp after a RAM and SSD upgrade. The 240Hz screen upgrade is called inexpensive, though the base RTX 5070 has 8GB of VRAM and the non Pro Legion tops out at that GPU. Extra savings may be available through Lenovo chat or student discounts, making the final price notably lower.
Mobile professionals who need a laptop that stays usable on battery, because the AMD chip is geared toward mobility and battery life while still being decently powerful.
Students who can use a sales rep quote to stack education savings, because the quote can include extra student discounts that may not appear after conversion.
Creators and technical users who work plugged in, because the machine handles Ollama, GIS, CAD, and image editing well after a RAM upgrade.
Gamers who want to charge over USB-C while playing, because this model can game while charging on 100W USB.
Players who want a laptop with more than 8GB of graphics memory, because some games need 12GB and the 5070 configuration only has 8GB.
Gamers who need strong performance in newer titles that use more than four cores, because Zen 5c cores can be slower than Zen 5 cores and performance may suffer.
Buyers who need a higher-refresh gaming screen with G-Sync, because this model lacks the better panel found on competing laptops.
Shoppers expecting a 5070 Ti configuration in the non-pro lineup, because the Legion 5 and Legion 7 non-pro top out at the 5070.
