$11 no name compressor, eh? Expect this to die within a year and maybe you can get no more than 10 uses out of it.

It's typical no name, cheap products to die quickly, but it's even more so with cheap air compressors. If you haven't had personal experience, you will.

I guess really need to figure out why you buy a tire inflator and what it is for.

As someone mentioned, this is cheap tire inflator that quality probably not consistence. So if you buy multiple of this, the tire pressure reader probably return different number. Some reviews said when they use high quality tire pressure reader compare to the read on this unit, this tire inflator reader was off by 6 PSI.

If I really want to have a tire inflator at home, I would want one that works when I need it. Probably will just pay more to get a higher quality one. And may get this as a backup just in case.
If I have to keep a tire inflator in car for emergency, I would get a high quality one also since during emergency, I assume that's the time I want one that really works. And again, may keep this as second one as backup assuming you have room in your car for 2 tire inflators.

i've never seen a cheap tire inflator go above 40-50 psi or if they do, the motor will burn up before you get to high PSi.

how are they able to market it and claim 150psi???

I think for bike tires, it has low air volume but need very high pressure (80-120+ PSI) for narrow shapes, while car tires have high volume but lower PSI. So may be this inflator also work with bike tires but only for very short amount time moving small amount of air volume at high pressure. But doesn't work with certain car high PSI tires which has much higher air volume and need to keep the pressure at much longer amount of time???

These portable ones are really for emergencies. Had a slime and a harbour freight and they don't last.
Get a proper compressor if you air your tires frequently. I got a 6 gallon one that is over kill for tires, but does it really well. I use the air to clean stuff, so it save me some money on buying cans.

I haven't used this product, but from my experience with items with small motors (air beds, hair dryers, portable heaters), they say to not run for a certain amount of time (more than 5 min) or to run in cool mode (hair dryer or heater) before shutting off. My guess is that most people don't do this and it prematurely kills the product. Similar goes for portable lithium jump starters.
