Max RAM listed as 64GB. I have 2x new 48GB modules left over from work. DDR5 5600Mhz 262pin
I went to Lenovo's website and saw this notation:
"Notes: [1] The max memory is based on the test results with current Lenovo® memory offerings."
So 96GB might work? worse case scenario is it recognizes as 64GB?

Do my eyes deceive me? Is this a desktop chassis with a laptop cpu, laptop ram, and a full sized pcie GPU? I've seen a tiny amount of this in mini forum land but an LOQ? That's different.

It would either work with both or not at all, no getting partial capacity. The none binary modules (12/24/48) are trouble some with older bios but should be fine with a more recent aegis updates.

Yea I've got the similar Minisforum board with a 7945HX. They're a bargain but the big caveat is of course the CPU is soldered, so no upgrading.

What do you want to upgrade from a 7945hx, which is a 100w 7950x? That's the point. It's already top of line and don't need to upgrade at all.

I doubt it, the specs doesn't even include the MOBO so that's how you know to not trust prebuilds like these

How hard would it be to replace PSU? Wondering if proprietary since it's a laptop board. I would get this if I could put in my 7900 XT. But I'm guessing it's too big.
