I've been using this for years and have no complaints. It comes with two sensors, each sensor can be setup with individual max/min limits to trigger an alarm. Shows daily high/low range.
I mount my display right beside my kitchen sink so it's within sight when I'm using the sink.
I put one sensor in my freezer (main fridge) and another sensor in my chest freezer with set alarms. I didn't see a need to have one in my fridge itself since the fridge and freezer run off the same compressor.
Bonus is during power outages, I can keep an eye on freezer temps with the door closed and help keep things cooler longer. Then, I can run the generator as needed to make sure my freezer stuff doesn't thaw.

I'd like to know how long the temps were out of range once the power comes back on.
I see the comment above re usefulness of a display for this purpose, but if I'm not home at the time I won't be able to manually track.
