Reported Issues with Buyatab
Non-functional gift cards: Many customers report that the gift cards they purchase arrive with zero balance or simply do not work when they try to use them.
Poor/non-existent customer service: The most common complaint across review sites (like the Better Business Bureau and Trustpilot) is an inability to get issues resolved by customer service, with reports of "run around" and unanswered calls/emails.
Security and fraud concerns: Some users have experienced unauthorized charges on their credit cards after using the site or have had their gift card balances stolen/zeroed out.
Hidden third-party transactions: Many consumers are unaware they are being redirected to Buyatab's platform when buying from a major retailer's site, leading to confusion about who is responsible for resolving issues when they arise.
I would prefer to buy a $100 Lowes card for $80 (or $200 for $160) for true 20% off value. Instead we are getting 16.67% discount. Not bad but not stellar either. 15% off for Lowes gift cards is not that uncommon.

Adding to your Lowe's account will do nothing to prevent the GC from being spent. You could add it to your account and I could still spend it in store or on my own Lowe's account/guest account purchases.

I called in. After a short wait a rep answered. The phone said it wasn't because of the credit card company putting a stop on suspicious orders and just needed more information in order to process the order. I was short on time because I had some appointments when I got back, I tried it again with a different Credit card number. Still got the same message.. if you look at the reviews, apparently this company processes gift cards for a lot of large companies, including Walmart, Lowe's, etc.Very similar comments and complaints on yelp and other review sites people want to use the cards weeks or months after they bought them and account was empty.When I had rentals, I would've jumped on this in a heartbeat because I was always buying stuff for them .Now, what have I gained if I make $20? And I don't use it all right away because there's just not a lot on their website I can use.I am going to pass because making $20 isn't Worth raising my blood pressure by 50 points two months down the road!!I think everyone who reads this post should consider calling up Lowe's and complaining about the reputation of this company After all, anyone who ends up getting screwed down the road blames Lowe's and says I'll never shop there again
Life hack, Lowes never return item value same GC. You can buy item and return in bulk. You would get a new card. The system is really dumb, I can order a 50 cent to be picked up in locker. They ran out and would issue a refund... Buy new card... 2-3 FedEx. I got like 7 of this. Good way remove number from website that sold you the card.
I had no problems with this transaction. I bought $200 of Lowes GC at Lowes website using a cc. I quickly received 2 e-gift cards....one for $200 and one for $40, and I easily added them to my Lowes wallet.
I initially tried to use a Mastercard issued by Synchrony Bank and the transaction did not go thru. In my experience, my Synchrony Bank cc does not like on-line transactions. I then used a VIsa issued by Citibank and it went through with no problem. All FYI.

Worked perfectly fine for me. Received both GCs ($200 + $40) after only a couple of minutes. Added to my Lowes Wallet after using most of it on some home maintenance stuff.

You didn't pay $240, you paid $200
