I didn't like the issues noted from a google search of this company:
Reported Issues with Buyatab

Non-functional gift cards: Many customers report that the gift cards they purchase arrive with zero balance or simply do not work when they try to use them.
Poor/non-existent customer service: The most common complaint across review sites (like the Better Business Bureau and Trustpilot) is an inability to get issues resolved by customer service, with reports of "run around" and unanswered calls/emails.
Security and fraud concerns: Some users have experienced unauthorized charges on their credit cards after using the site or have had their gift card balances stolen/zeroed out.
Hidden third-party transactions: Many consumers are unaware they are being redirected to Buyatab's platform when buying from a major retailer's site, leading to confusion about who is responsible for resolving issues when they arise.

I would prefer to buy a $100 Lowes card for $80 (or $200 for $160) for true 20% off value. Instead we are getting 16.67% discount. Not bad but not stellar either. 15% off for Lowes gift cards is not that uncommon.

I used GV number. I was able to receive the order confirmation text, but my replies were not getting through. Hence, the system cancelled my order after giving me a 15min warning message to reply with Y.

FYI, for future purpose...not to use GV number with buyatab system.

100% the most important PSA on here: DO NOT BUY TO SPEND in 3months+Your Lowe's gift card will magically go to $0 after a few months. You will have absolutely NO recourse.Lowes will not help you.Your credit card will not help you.Everyone will say it was theft or you spent it. There will be no investigation. You will never see the money again.Happened to me a couple times! I went very deep into trying to get my money back. Credit card disputes simply get a response from Lowes that the money was funded and then you lose the dispute.Going to be real on this one, I am pretty sure there is not some huge conspiracy of thieves eating the money, I think it is Lowes themselves. Also, this goes with ANY gift cards from Lowes, not just Lowes GCs themselves.
I got $100 Lowe's GC from Samsung Pay a couple of years ago. I used it over more than 2 year period.

Are you saying buying Lowe's GC from Buyatab is not safe if the GC is not used right away? Or lowe's GC in general has this problem? Thanks

That dude you quoted is smoking crack. I'm with you, I bought from them last spring and recently used it a few weeks ago at Lowes with no issues. The card worked fine, and the money did not disappear. If it had, the FTC would be all over them for this.

Under federal law, the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act, gift cards cannot expire for five years. Some states are even longer, and any expiration must be clearly indicated to purchasers.

Violations are treated as unfair or deceptive practices under the FTC Act, giving the FTC authority to investigate, bring enforcement actions, and impose penalties. The FTC has historically taken action against companies for deceptive gift card marketing, including issues related to expiration dates and fees. Buyatab would have been shut down by now if there were any deception.

I called this morning and they ask additional info. Their reviews are 1.2 on Yelp
I got this email when my text verification failed (somehow GV number is able to receive text, but the response is not going through)

I called them this morning and they have opened a ticket with the verification team. Let's see what happens.

anyone able to purchase with a different CC? Tried but gets declined by CC, not sure if thats their vanila message to limit one per family but was trying to buy it for my father.
Initially, I tried with VGC and it failed twice (error 441). Then I tried with CO visa and it went through, but their system failed to receive text response from my GV number, which ultimately resulted in order cancellation.

I loaded $200 GC to wallet, but the link to the $40 GC says "This card is no longer active." I called the included phone number, and they told me to email their management team at an "info@" address - no doubt unmonitored.
