I guess you can load what you want but keep in mind that once loaded minutes are only good for up to one year depending on the value of the prepaid card.
$900 is the maximum balance.

I'm still wondering whether it is worth it to buy a $300 prepaid card 11 months before my next renewal lol
Has anyone done the math behind supporting this?

Thanks. Got another years worth ($180) for my T-Mobile Select $15, 5GB plan for about $156 after red card and taxes. Just like last year. I was considering other cheap plans in case this deal didn't happen this year. I have gigabyte WiFi at home, and work from home, so don't use a lot of cell data. The highest I used in the last 2 or more years is 4GB one month, and otherwise haven't even hit the 2.5GB half way point in a month.

I have stand alone smart watch prepaid connection. Plan is $10 plus tax($1.20) per month. I got several $35 Verizon gift card. If I load one $35 gift card which is 90 days valid, will it cover three months bill?

Be careful T-mobile customers! I had an issue with redeeming one of my cards. It turns out they limit the account balance to $1000, so redeeming more than that throws an error. The card that threw the error will show as redeemed, the account balance will not reflect the added amount over $1000. I contacted @TMobileHelp on ex-twitter, this was the response:
"When reviewing prepaid refill limits it does say it cannot go over $1000 so this is what the issue would be. I understand it took from your refill card but this should bounce back and update within 24 hours and that $100 should go back to your refill card. You can then use that refill card once your services renew next month as you'd have the availability room then to make that $100 refill."
Out of curiosity, why would anyone want to load their account with $1,000 worth of balance? That seems very excessive unless there's a good reason for it.

What maths are looking for? When you can buy $1 for .85 cents it's a win. There are rarely any deals that get better than that for these types of cards since it's basically a cash value card. If you use the service then it's a solid discount. If you lose the email then it's a loss. Or are you thinking of maths like should you invest the $1 and try and grow it 10 cents in that year and the try and buy a card later? Why not do both?

jesus wtf these deals only last one day? Kinda random only the Monday before christmas and not like the whole week or just a few days leading up to it. Last night I remembered just before going to bed and set a reminder to just buy when I wake up ☹️

Just to be safe and for easy access, I always take a screenshot and add it to my Notes files with a reminder. Keeps track of my refills and renewals on TMo, ATT, Tracfone and Red Pocket, et al.

I have 10 cricket lines. Cost is $250 a month. i just bought $3000 for the entire year. 15% off plus chase5% for $1500, target red card 5%ish for remaining $1500. Also tried to put them thru various cb sites. I dont plan on switching from cricket anytime soon. Added plus I dont have to remember to pay bill. If cricket goes bankrupt, I guess I am fu(ked. (Chase points are worth more than 5%) Plus I add three target spend offers for $15, $10 and $5, they all went thru.

I've been adding a year's worth on Cricket for 8 years.

FYI Delaware does not charge sales tax on prepaid phone cards
Doesn't work to change your delivery address. It uses the address of your credit card.

Almost the exact same situation including T-Mobile plan and data consumption. I was moving to US Mobile Light Plan ($8/mo INCLUDING all taxes and fees) if this deal did not come out. (https://www.usmobile.com/plans - scroll way down the page to find the Light Plan.)

Purchased $195 in T-Mobile air cards yesterday, getting me another 13 months of T-Mobile for $13.11 per month.

I have 5 lines, $1000 is less than 6 months of service. This is the best sale we get all year, so I am trying to stock up.
