EcoFlow River 3 Plus stands out as a compact backup power station for outages, outdoor setups, and light remote work. It has powered a projector by the pool, kept a cable modem and router online during outages, and handled camera and networking gear for live streaming. The built in UPS and detachable battery setup add flexibility, and the $200 price drew strong interest. The main cautions are UPS behavior, since firmware updates can cut output and some loads may not switch over cleanly, plus the magnetic charger battery is only so so. A handy pick if you want portable power with extra versatility.

I specifically bought this for the "<10 ms Pro-grade UPS", which I intended to utilize alongside my UGREEN Nas. Turns out, many NAS units (including Ugreen, Synology and others) don't yet have the specific drivers or configuration within their software to support Network UPS Tools (NUT). As such, they won't show up as an option that will allow for a controlled device shutdown despite the usb-a port on the rear meant for pc communications. Maybe in time…

I bought one for my synology nas too without realizing they'd need specific drivers. I saw ecoflow added the power manager software for ds923+ 423+ 224+ and 220+. too bad mines is a regular 423 so it doesn't work.

Appreciate the links for the larger but more expensive Jackery unit with Solar panel, interested in why it's been down voted?
I have an EcoFlow River Pro v1 720w that I love, and have had this newer River 3 model on my radar but haven't bought previously because of concerns over the run time and UPS ms cutover time.

Jackery is a solid brand... Not sure why it is downvoted. I have a 6kWh setup from this line and it has been nothing but solid. I also see generally good reviews.

In for one! Just in time as I needed a new UPS! Glad to see this thing does <10ms switch over and will cost me less than the APC Smart-UPS I was previously considering buying. I know it doesn't play nice with Synology out of the box YET (there's a workaround and I'm not too worried about doing some scripts/automations myself) and I guess I'm playing the long game here (LiFePO4) since this thing should last 10+ years and is usable in other ways as well.
