$20 more than last deal a few weeks ago. Not as good as $369 with free track that was just a few days ago (from value standpoint).

Last time they did a deal with the tracks and man this time I have leftover Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket. I don't need it. Man I want it.

Can someone educate me on the usage difference between this and a regular circular saw?

The saw runs on a track, and the blade is designed to be able to plunge down into the material to start the cut. The level of ease, convenience and safety far surpasses a typical circular saw, though you can certainly get the same results from a typical circular saw with additional time and skill. In other words, if you find yourself spending all your time aligning the cut for your circular saw, you might benefit greatly from a track saw.
