Wait for the gen 3. High speed and 70ft-lb. I already have the gen 1 and gen 2 3/8(first 2 you have linked) so currently waiting for the gen 3. The gen 2 lost some torque compared to the gen 1 but the speed was a good upgrade overall. I got it only early this year so would have been nice to hold out until the 3rd gen...

Edit: the passthrough design seems too annoying to deal with, special sockets and all. I just got some nano shallow impact sockets instead for the tighter area stuff.

For those who want something cheaper, this one is also a good deal (ratchet and a screwdriver) for $99. I bought it last year for the same price before hearing anything about 'FUEL' version but it worked well for my car DIY so i kept it.

I personally wanted the long reach. But at the price, I'll hold. Maybe Ace will have a deal soon enough.

Hmm buy this and hope that the M12 Fuel stubby impact wrench only goes on a good sale later? The stubby impact is what I really want, but missed out on the last deal for it (too slow), this would still be useful though.

Don't they make a torquey version of the ratchet? 35ft/lb is pretty much a waste of time and definitely not worth $150.
