This literally just arrived at my doorstep yesterday. It's a great monitor. I'm kinda enamored by the stand cause it's super sturdy.

What do you use it for? PC or platform gaming?

A 1440p at 34" would probably not be great at productivity/office work, I presume?

Would love to have a monitor that's great at text 60% of the time, photo editing 20% of the time, and gaming 20% of the time.

It is great for office.productivity. The only thing better you could do is a gigantic 4k. or a ultrawide 4k, neither of which anywhere near this price. Ive used a 1440 ultrawide for the last like 3 or 4 years for wfh and cant even think about a 1080 or even my regular 1440 monitor anymore.

So the text is pretty easy to read?

I'm still using a much older Alienware 3440x1440 IPS for work. (though mine's 36")
IMO this resolution is ideal for work. Recent-gen integrated laptop graphics can drive it, and I can comfortably place 3 applications on-screen with a little gap to click back to file explorer.
For me typically (excel/email + website + document)
Plenty of space for each with full document and nothing cut off for most websites & mail clients.
I don't know the sub pixel on this model but I like mine, and it's my understanding that generally you can count on any name-brand IPS to be better than ~many/most~ OLEDs for txt.
...actually looking at this and similar to use for another workspace.

Around black friday, I grabbed the 32" 4K OLED Alienware monitor as my main/gaming monitor, and then this 34" Ultrawide as my secondary/productivity monitor. I'm very happy with the result.

The pixels per inch is actually the same as a 27" QHD because the different aspect ratio.

Cannot comment on 34" as I am getting one to replace the 49". The 49" looks good on paper, you cannot really use the two edges as it is just too wide. during work, I am using about 70% of the screen.

Completely agree. I do a hybrid work schedule and use an ultrawide 34" at both locations and love it. Going from multiple 1080p monitors the extra vertical resolution is biggest benefit.

That's how I explain it to those who haven't seen or used an ultrawide 34" as many people are familiar with the popular 27" 2560x1440 widescreen monitor.
