Examples*:
This doesn't apply to all books. For instance, "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*CK" and "Sapiens" still exceeded $15 even with KU.
- "Villain Vignettes II" by Drew Hayes from $15 -> $4.65
- "Beware of Chicken 5" by Casualfarmer from $29.66 -> $5.31
- "Battle Mage Farmer, Book 4" by Seth Ring from $$19.56 -> $5.05
- "Quicksilver: The Fae & Alchemy Series, Book 1" from $52.49 -> $5.60
- "Onyx Storm: Empyrean, Book 3" from $18.66 -> $6.48
- "The Intruder" by Freida McFadden from $18.91 ->$4.99
- "Iron Flame (The Empyrean Book 2) " by Rebecca Yarros from $21.66 -> $7.49
- "The Housemaid" by Freida McFadden from $9.82 -> $4.93
- "Fourth Wing (The Empyrean Book 1) by Rebecca Yarros from $18.66 to $6.48
- "Dungeon Crawler Carl, Book 1" by from $17.46 to $4.93
- "The Lost Bookshop" by Evie Woods $20.32 -> $15.36
- "The Tenant" by Freida McFadden from $19.10 -> $4.93
- "The Locked Door" by Freida McFadden from $9.79 -> $4.82
- "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides from $14.17 -> $13.50
- "Last Patient of the Night" by Gary Gerlacher from $12.03 -> $5.05
I'm not sure if this deal is limited to active subscriptions on both KU and Audible.
*I am on an Audible membership (trial) right now so prices reflect an automatic 30% discount from regular price.
Unrelated: All the Harry Potter books are available on Kindle Unlimited right now.

I don't read Kindle books. However, in the past many KU books I checked out would be considered "owned" while "checked out" and I got a discount on audiobooks for bundling with an eBook.For instance, an audiobook that would be 1 credit or >$25 might be $7.49 or even $0.99 if I'd grabbed the ebook first through KU.
It was hit or miss, but I would run through my wish lists and usually get some deals. Back then $7.49 for an audiobook was a good price. Now I'd consider a random, copyrighted audiobook at <$3.99 a deal thanks to discount audiobook sites, library digital audiobooks, giveaways, & Audible trials.
Anyone know if we can still use this loophole on Amazon?
See next post. I figured out the answer and yes, you can save on audiobooks with kindle unlimited. see below.
