You can always get an adapter if needed. If you own a tesla, the adapter is usually included. I own this charger and it works extremely well. Dont see any diff between this one and many others. The app has everything that's expected. That being said, either this one or the 40A, cant recall, was 380 from black friday thru Xmas. They go on sale quite often. If you dont need it now, best to wait for a sale
