It's only $4 off, not a good enough deal for my shopping pleasure. I'd take it at 75-90% off, generally that's holiday candy after the fact, though.

Sour Patch Kids are made by blending sugar, corn syrup, gelatin, and flavorings into a gummy base, molding it into kid shapes in starch trays, cooling it, and then tumbling the gummies in a mixture of sugar and acids (citric, tartaric) to create the signature "sour then sweet" coating before they are packaged. The entire industrial process involves precise control of heat, humidity, and ingredients for consistency, turning liquids into chewy, coated candies in about an hour.

However, availability varies, as some international versions (like in the UK) do include gelatin, which can come from animal sources, including pigs

The "gelatin" ingredient is the processed pigs skin, at least for Haribo brand gummy bears.

yup and that's why more companies are using pectin instead, believe Jello made the switch

pectin is 100% kosher and halal, gelatin is not ALWAYS depends on what type
