The second worst knife I've ever owned was a Smith and Wesson, and I regret buying that at any price. It was clear they were licensing their name to anyone who could almost sharpen some steel they found in a scrap pile.

It's been at least ten years since. Has their quality improved?

Its heavy, its big, its bulky. Its a cool knife for 13 bucks. Definitely not an EDC, but something fun to have around and the quality seems decent

No. It's obvious they are licensing out their name. That this one isn't even telling us exactly which steel they are using is very telling.

My advice is to pay more and get a knife you'll enjoy using.

100 x better than a box opener. Also makes noise if you drop it (loss prevention feature) Plays well with AMZ deliveries.

I loved my $10 garbage Smith and worsen knife. Because it was so garbage, I could comfortably use it as a screw driver, pry bar, box cutter, garden digger/knife, wire cutter, etc... all without the fear of ruining a decent knife. These pieces of junk are the perfect edc for anyone who isn't planning a tacticool battle with rival knife wielding gangs. Of course, you may not be able to impress your friends with how well it can slice paper or tomatoes, so keep that in mind.

Yeah these are fun. I like the smaller version. Lost it to TSA recently - who cares it was like $10

I've picked up decent Kershaws for $15. A knife doesn't have to be amazing but the S&W knife I had came with a wavy edge, was not even aligned with the handle, and dull enough to get stuck cutting open a package. If their guns were built to the same standard, they'd hangfire on every fourth round, and the trigger pull would vary randomly. They definitely sold their name off cheaply.

Seriously, I've seen better quality off of Aliexpress. But maybe this one's better.

I have an old S&W knife that's also pretty terrible.

Agreed. May as well be Westinghouse or Zenith. Maybe an RCA phonograph. May they all RIP.
