EDIT: I got this confused with another Legion 5 model. This one that OP posted is two DIMM slots and 2 SSD slots.

I agree completely. Unless you need a bigger screen or have a MUCH bigger budget, this is pretty much the best laptop of this year at sub 1500. Hell it's probably the best all around laptop period in that price range of any year for the past few. Massively overperforms the market.

Nah this is 16 GB one stick, none are soldered. Not sure what laptop you are thinking of. Also has 2 SSD slots.
