Very good price, the solar panel list for $200+ by itself. The downside of the 600v2 is that it is not wifi capable, meaning that you cannot control the unit with your phone app nor monitor it.

I think sometimes Costco treats the discount as an instant rebate or manufacturer coupon rather than a sales price.

Per the terms and conditions on the Costco website:

State sales tax may be due on all or part of the pre-discounted price of items subject to instant savings. These taxes, if any, are in addition to the amount that you are paying for the product.

I posted this same deal before but got thumbs down.. I thought it was bad deal.. here in this post I see positive feedback... I am relieved that it is indeed a good deal...

one thing to mention is 600 V2 doesn't have wifi or bluetooth.. so cannot use the app.

I tried to add it order it, but how come it calculates tax on the original price $600, but not $300?

What is a realistic expectation of the 200w solar panel ?

Can you use the 12v output from the battery while charging ?

Would this run a 12v fridge 24 hours if it got 8hrs of sunlight per day ?

The fridge draws 65w in Econo Mode.
If you end those 8 hours of sunlight with a full charge, you'd have about 8 or 9 hours of battery at 65w until the battery is drained. Your fridge wouldn't have power until you get some sun into the panel in the morning. I don't know how long food lasts without the fridge running, would it still be ok for around 8 hours, and best not to open the fridge doors for those 8 hours....

We have the Jackery 2000 Explorer, took it camping in our van in October in Ohio. It was great to have a heated blanket and run the cooler. The solar panels work well if the sun is directly on the panels with no clouds, but never saw the full 200 watts.

Aftermarket solar panels require an adapter to connect, we had a couple not work due to voltage or connectivity issues.

Recent storms have been causing major power outages where I live. Bought this for some basic backup power.
