Yes this is a traditional moka pot. Unscrew, add water to the bottom, insert metal filter cup, add ground coffee, screw on top.

Boil on stove until all water has filtered through.

Yea but impossible to keep from getting tarnished they can't be wet for long or they start getting these dark stains on it

Yes, however you will need to experiment with your stove heat levels to get the perfect brew. I like the electric cafetera models better because the temperature is standardized.

Been using this Brand's moka pot for more than a decade to make decoction for lattes. Easy to use. Easy to clean! This is the going price. Listing price is increased at times.

You should get that checked out... Or I'm sure there's plenty of deals on decent toilet paper somewhere on this site

Great price on a knock-off Moka pot. Like this makes as it multiple servings, you fill the bottom with water. Add the coffee tray, add the grinds, then screw on the top. Boiled water percolates into the upper chamber. and goes up the central shaft and into the upper reservoir to be poured out. Handeash as dishwasher detergent oxidizes aluminum.

If you can get the stainless steel version I'd probably recommend that for easier cleaning versus the aluminum version. That said, a good trick to reduce the bitterness of the moka pot coffee is to add preheated water to the water chamber so it spends less time heating the coffee grounds. You can also add paper filters from aeropress to filter out grounds from getting into your brew as well.
