I bought this exact model from the manufacturers website. It's been over 10 days and they haven't even shipped the printer and will not respond to my emails.

That's not good. Anycubic isn't responding? They're usually very good in my experience.
You can buy new from AliE with coupon code for low $200 fairly often. I would NOT buy refurbished from Anycubic at all costs.
I thought I'd save some money and buy a refurb S1 combo directly from their website a couple months back. It arrived with bolts falling out and looked like it had been kicked to hell. There was absolutely ZERO QC done they just repacked and shipped it to me AS IS. Broken extruder and print head casing as well and several other internal parts.
I had to diagnose every piece myself and go thru their "customer support" like 5 different times with each piece taking 3 weeks to arrive. Needless to say it's still not functional and I bought it in early October. Their support is worthless and will only send parts they will NOT replace the unit. So buyer beware!

Damn that sounds terrible and I get it but sometimes its worth the gamble as many have received good units in past deals. The Allstate warranty is also peace of mind as you can just file a claim and get your cash back within 2 years of purchase, something you don't get when buying new.
However, if I got a bad one, I would not bother with the seller based on reading your experience. I would just send it back with their free returns so theres really no downside here.
