the problem with these is that they are bluetooth only.... which is a huge problem.

I have bought this before for $9.99. I prefer this exact one as it works with a battery pack with a converter. Some of the other 16.4 Govees do not.

Curious. In what situation would having a battery pack be beneficial compared to pulling a USB cable to power these so that you don't have to remember to charge the battery?

I make portable devices with them. Like a totem for a music festival for example.

I can think of several... for a festive hike with transparent umbrella or decking the lonely tree in the yard, or wiring up the Ebike or trike with a lovely and safe holiday. I have phone battery packs, some with solar panels built in.
