I personally like them for clipping on a running vest or fanny pack for night runs as a backup for my headlamp because this time of year its dark when I go to work and dark when I get off. Beats trying to shine your watch or phone.
I bought a pocket flashlight from them years ago and it was garbage. Poor output, clunky build and the rechargeable battery died way too soon. I know they have been Military/Police favorites for years, at least in the past. Are they one of those companies that makes some high end equipment and then some garbage for their "consumer" line? Or just have not kept up like Maglite?

I really don't know. I'm sure like most companies, facing pressure, they start to cheap out.

TBH, this one seems overpriced at this price point.
It looks cheap and the plastic looks brittle.
The multi-color output / IR version (with beacon adapter) is on sale for $67.59 if anyone is interested.
