Last time my order was cancelled and the $10 promo certificate was never back to my account.
Seems once you use it for an order cancelled or fulfilled, it's just long gone.

BBY rewards have sucked for years now. I used to be a credit card holder and I purchased six figures reselling best buy products. Used my rewards points to buy full set of kitchen appliances. Several months later, they closed my rewards account with a couple thousand points in it stating breach of terms. Buying too many copies of a video game or some such BS. Six figures I spent with them. Slamming the door on their own foot. The writing is on the wall, mark my words, BBY will not be around much longer.

With recent decisions like discontinuing Blu-ray and DVD media and replacing them with exercise equipment shows that Best Buy is fully committed to following the Sears business model into the ground.

I thought you could use it on the ring kit as long as you buy another item with it?

EDIT: both $10 ring kits don't show the $10 reward as being usable when you add them to your cart. However, I am seeing it as an option when I add the $0.99 filler item. Total shows $12.07 for me, but I think that still runs the risk of being cancelled, right?

Yeah, I got one around BF and used it on a silly item - in a hurry!
BB has no customer service - people at the store hardly speak English or have no clue as to what is going on!

Haven't got a single one of these best buy surprise certificates. Is there some prerequisite to even qualify to get them like being subscribed to some newsletter or what not? I do get plenty of best buy emails but they are only from "My Best Buy® Visa® Card"

EDIT: Looks like "Special Offers & Promotions Offers, promotions, deals, sales, and much more" was turned off in my account. Maybe that's the reason? ( https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cust...references )
