I just got this a month ago at this price and it's okay but major drawbacks are it just isn't very strong (I knew it would be less than the plug ins), but it really eats up batteries. You really need a 4ah unless you're only using it for a few minutes then recharging.
Compared to the numerous other ryobi tools I have I usually am impressed how long the batteries last (even in a kids power wheels),but this little vac chews up a 4ah quick.
This is one of the best purchases I ever made. I use it all the time, for things I would have never thought of. Got it about a year ago and I think I paid $40.
That said, I ended up regretting not getting the one with tubes. I ended up paying more to buy them as an accessory later on.
You clearly do not understand how these types of vacuums work if you think it would work without a perfect seal on the bucket. Show me a single example of what you are saying this is capable of doing.
