Do not forget that if you do buy something, there is a feedback survey to get one free entree with purchase of a three entree plate (they discount one of the entrees from the three). So you get that (and you can use the $30 gift card to buy that or the $8 to discount it further, unless you already used the $8 to discount the reward you won for the game). I would use the $8 first since you have to use that completely on one transaction before using the $30 one.
Edit: Nevermind, they actually are doing it less swindly this time. Apparently, they went for paperless and the code they sent you can be used online (not written down on the receipt). You can buy one two entree plate and buy an a la carte entree and when you check out, they will take the a la carte entree off. It will look as if the subtotal is like $15, but you will only have to pay $10.30 (or regular price of the two entree plate in your area). We all know this is marketing, so a la carte is not really that much more than what you get on the plate. They jack up the price on the a la carte for the portion you would get on the plate and so it looks like you are getting a discount. Still paying $10.30/3 entrees and 1 side.
