The number of tips indicates (usually) how full the tree looks.

Jackson Noble 9ft =6118 tips

Trees like this have been popping up at HD after Christmas for the.past 5+ years, with an advertised huge price markdown, but I am noticing a pattern here and think they are made to sell at this time/price. If you notice most of the other holiday stuff is removed from shelves the day after, unlike back in the day when there were ongoing markdowns.

That's a good point and I think you're right. However a 9' tree for this price is really good considering most 9' trees sell for a lot more and not every retailer sells trees this large. Costco sells their 9' tree for $400 to $500 if I recall (we paid $190 for one back in 2000 and gagged but it lasted a number of years and Costco trees are really nice). Take care of it and if you get 4 years it's $22 a year. Get 8 years and it's $11 per. The lights keep working if you're careful with putting it and storing it.

I have been wanting to replace my 9ft since pre pandemic when the lights went on it but they have been outrageously priced the last few years so I've been stringing lights to skate by. I JUST got one from Lowe's similar priced thinking it was a steal but the specs are WAY better on this one and home depot has free shipping. Guess I'll be returning it...

Bought a tree. I think same brand. This is the 3rd year and it's failing. Disappointed. But I still bought this one hoping it'll be different.

'Failing' fails to be descriptive.

Lights are extremely dim, some don't even light up.

If you bought it from Costco and smart enough to keep the receipt, you should get a lifetime use out of that one purchase.
The Costco 9' tree was $750 this year...🤢
