I have an older model but I use it for that and it works pretty well. It fills up the bag really fast so you'll be emptying it a lot, but to me it seems faster than raking, and the blades kind of mulch the leaves so they take up less space per bag. I only do this when the leaves are dry though

i think this is the exact lawn mower i have. their claim of running 45 minutes is a bit laughable though.... i mean maybe if you just mowed the whole yard 5 days ago lol. if the grass has even a bit of height good luck getting 45 mins out of the battery. also, this unit will stall frequently if you haven't mowed in a bit and the grass is a bit high. you will need to restart it several times and sometimes go under and grab some grass out to get the blade free. at this price i would say it's a good buy though just have realistic expectations. if you mow regularly you shouldn't have issues.

I have had this for 7 years and it might not be brushless - I don't have a large lawn - but it has been very reliable. 165 is a very good price.

Question for anyone that owns this: Would this be good for vacuuming up leaves?

I definitely still get 45-50 minutes out of my 5yo version, but like you said, you need to stay after it.

The good thing is if the grass is too tall or wet, you'll give up before the battery dies, anyway -- from bogging and clogging.

No way this is gonna cut 1/2 acre in 45 mins. I have .15 acre and... I can use a 4ah battery no problem. Usually, I have to go into the 2nd battery I have. Unless you cut every day. But, I do like it.

Will this cut on inclines or does it pretty much have to be level ground?

It's still $329 in Austin, TX where it's 80 degrees on Christmas day & the grass is still green!
