I don't know why, but I always thought these were mediocre. Not much better than cheap Bics. However, they're really popular so maybe I'm missing something. Personally, for me there's the Jetstream, then there's just a bunch of the same old ballpoints that don't have much difference between them.

Showed the coupon for me. Bagged a couple at this price. Always need pens around the house and workshop. Always need mechanical pencils for the toolbox and woodshop. Nice one OP.

Retractable is the big selling point for those of us with jobs on-the-go. I deliver items and it'sich faster and easier to use a retractable. I'd say the most common Bics I see in offices are the ones with a lid. A lid is inconvenient if you are walking around all day. When I've had deal jobs or I'm at home I don't care, but any delivery person for example... Wants the retractable pens. The above retractables are kinda cheapy and flimsy and I only see them when people use them for promo pens. Otherwise I don't know that these are amazing compared to a. Sric. Bic pen but if you are hopping in our of a truck all day where its also easy to lose pens and pen lids, retractable is much preferred.

it should say the Bic retractables are cheap and flimsy.

I'm writing this in purple ink, crying my eyes out because I feel attacked by Devaney1984. I can't believe this happened Christmas Eve. At least I can draw some pretty flowers in the margins with these cool colors.

1 hour 10 minutes have passed since my last entry. I write this in light blue ink.
I can not sleep. Though I lie with my eyes closed and lights off, the comments left by Devaney19884 have taken a bigger blow to my ego than at first anticipated.
I do not know that I can recover.
I think I will draw some squiggly lines in orange ink in an attempt to calm my nerves.

I hope I can rest.
Things look bleak.

Do you know of any good rollerball retractable pens? I have to write on the go too, but the inconsistency of ballpoint annoys me.
