How are the tags on these? The last couple of Hanes tee-shirts I bought have tags that feel like either steel wool or sandpaper. I could cut them off, but then I'm worried that the stitching would start to unravel.

The tags on mine curled up after 1 wash. They haven't bothered me so far but I can see then annoying some people. It looks like you could cut them very close to the seam if needed.

The shirts themselves are good quality in my opinion, not the thin crap you see a lot of these days. I just ordered 2 more.

You can remove them easily by yanking it off with your hands.
