Yeah, so here is the issue I am having. The LGA1700 has pins for the processor. Let me tell you, it is easy to bend a pin (don't ask me how I know). I would be shy about buying this, as Amazon Returns may not thoroughly inspect the Processor Socket for bent pins. Bottom Line: If it has bent pins, you are purchasing a non-operational MB. Buyer Beware!

The pins you are referring to are on the CPU socket, not on the motherboard. I dont understand why people who NFI wtf theiy're talking about are always compelled to pop off.

Hey, I have an Asus Z790 dark hero motherboard and it's like a $500 motherboard, but it has like this audio issue where you have to go into the settings in the realtek audio options and set it to disable a certain thing so the back 3.5 mm auxiliary report works appropriately. Despite all updates and driver reinstalled and troubleshooting, this is the only solution for it, which is pretty ridiculous for a $500 motherboard. My question is does anybody know if this motherboard has a similar issue? Thank you.

My Compatriot, and where is the CPU Socket in relation to the motherboard? Yes, the CPU socket IS ON the motherboard. So, if you damage the pins in/on the CPU socket, you will have a non-functioning motherboard.
Your response should be concerning to this awesome community, as your flagrantly inaccurate comments reveals more about your abilities to understand basic computing than to guide people's opinions. But honestly, you told on yourself and succeeded in both.

Actually Intel 12th, 13th, and 14th Generation - LGA 1700 Sockets.
Intel 15th Generation is the Ultra Series - LGA 1851 Sockets.

For reference the Intel CPUs have flat connectors on the CPU and the pins absolutely are on the motherboard

Intel hasn't had pins on the CPU for a long time
