I have these, they work fine and they can/do output 12v charge rate with compatible devices.

Unlike the other deal with a similar device for 2for $5, those do not output 12v for faster charges

I like the orientation of the outlet plugs on this one. Most have it turned 90 degrees which blocks off the adjacent outlet plugs if you use it on a power strip.

Please don't buy this. Not worth burning your house down. At least buy from a company with an actual brand name.

Every time I read the one-star reviews mentioning "fire hazard" or similar language, I cringe. I once had a house fire from a cheap device from Amazon. Mine was caught in time for smoke-only damage. However, if I had not seen it in time, it would have burnt down my house. I'm searching for a UL device. I don't see this device as UL-rated.

Do you know if you had it on an arc-fault circuit breaker?

Most garages and outside outlets don't.

I thought those were supposed to prevent the majority of those type of fires.

Doesn't seem to be UL listed and is not GaN, which helps keep temp down. Wanted to love this and pick up a double handful, but safety is the top priority. Thus I'll be passing. Ty to the OP regardless. Appreciate your sharing Smilie.

Agree. I impulse buy so much of this crap because its cheap and then it goes bad within a few months or doesn't work like its supposed to.

GAN is nice, but things charged just fine prior to GAN, so I don't see the necessity for it.

This is what I found regarding the GaN and UL safety features when asking Rufus, Amazon's AI. Is this response trustworthy?
