No, it should be less. The tablet is already 3 months of data, so don't need to pay more for it. The phones can switch to $35 / mo plan for 2nd month, so just $70 more. So total $190 unlocked after 2 months.

Similarly,
some people might have this in their Amex Offers:
Straight Talk - Smartphones, Prepaid Plans & More

1 phone + 1 tab is $90 (+ tax)
2 phones + 1 tab is $120 (+ tax)

Tab comes with 3 month service and it is already unlocked
For the phones, We need another 1 month service. We can use $35 bronze plan to unlock it

Amex $20 back /Chase 15% has offers

(Very few people has success with buying Walmart $25 Straight Talk top up card & there are some, who rebranded the phone to Tracfone and then bought 90 days plan for $20 and unlocked the phone)

Tab promotion is limited to one per account

Is the TCL Tab 10 NxtPaper worth anything? Or will it swiftly end up in a box of ambiguous clutter?
It's several versions behind for Android already and hasn't had a security update since July so I wouldn't recommend doing any financial stuff on it.
Great for reading but there's a reason Verizon is unloading these, they're soon to be obsolete (or just e-readers).

If you are ordering the 2 phones and the tab, you can also add 2 more devices (cannot be more Stylus because it's a max of 2 of one type of phone model per order). You can get a Moto G Power 2024 or a Samsung Galaxy A16 for free. The 3rd line would be $15 and the 4th line would be $10.
Thanks to this feedback I was able to get five devices and lots of silver service for $152.35. I bought some super cheap moto phones from an HSN deal that never got much use but I think these are better overall - 5G - the Samsung can go to my brother-in-law once unlocked.

I have downgraded from Silver to Bronze for an iPhone deal to get the unlock after a second month of service. Depending on the sticker shock of four devices for a second month I may do the same on this deal and take my chances. No problem with auto-unlock on any iPhones in the past but I have no recent experience with Android devices under the new Straight Talk unlock policies.

I've just received 2 phones. Can I delay activate one phone in 2-3 months.
Just chatted with CS about this. No expiration/limit on activation, wait as long as you want.

Be aware that if you activate phones on different days, the renewal will realign the following period and prorate your multi-line plan refill to match. So if unlocking with minimum cost, to ensure you don't end up a few days short of 60 on any phones, activate them all on the same day.

Thank you for your info and advice. But I still don't understand "activate phones on different days" ? I thought there are different lines, then different "60-day for unlock" ?

If you wish to start the 60 day clock for an unlock on a device you will have to activate one of your plans on the chosen device. To "save" a plan for future use you will end up with different service renewal dates for any/all activated plans and devices. You will have an easier time handling the management of the situation if you simply activate all plans and phones on the same date so they renew together 30 days in the future. That will help calculate your multi-line discounts correctly.

I'm liking the idea of saving the 90 day tablet plan for future use, provided it can be used in other devices and the tablet comes to me already unlocked.

Thanks everyone for contributing to the thread.

Shouldn't be any sticker shock - $100 for 4lines @ 30 days, just $25 to unlock each device is a bargain.

I'd love to be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all the SIMs are bound to the device IMEIs. Tablet is a data-only plan, so it won't work on a phone IMEI, and I wouldn't bet on requesting an IMEI change to another tablet given the promo.

Just in case folks don't know, you can use the coupon code if you have an existing Straight Talk phone/line and get the tablet for $45 in total.
I appreciate you for this information since ST didn't have this offer until today.
I only needed the tablet to try out for watching youtube and reading PDF files and ordered one.
A cashback site also gives back $10. Thanks again.

Thank again. A real newbie here. My 2 phones have to activate on my on line acct? If can I give one away as a gift?

To get the attractive pricing I ordered all devices on a single account. I'm going to hold on to them long enough to unlock them and then I'm pretty sure I'll be giving the unlocked Samsung as a gift.

The max you can wait is 45 days I believe.

You can gift it away. The activation card is inside the phone box itself. Not sure if it will get the plan you have purchased though.

I am stuck with the port-in. The Boost Mobile account number is 14 digits and Straight Talk wants 9 digit account number. Anyone else facing this issue?

So I only did 1 phone + 1 tablet. I guess i have the option to get another phone for $30 if I wanted.
Just noticed the tablet is Android 14, kinda old. Wonder how long before its obsolete or won't allow updating of apps.

Wow. Another confusion, learning. Is that why I saw 2 phones and plans ready to be activated in my acct under "Activate". So I can not gift a phone with plan away? Anybody confirm? TIA.
