The bundle stands out as a strong value for a Moto G Stylus 2025 phone pair plus TCL Tab 10 NxtPaper, especially for reading and light media use. The tablet is repeatedly described as an eye friendlier e paper style screen, good for comics, PDFs, and e reading, and it arrives unlocked with three months of service. The phones are praised for being smooth enough for everyday use, with 8 GB of RAM and a better chip than cheaper alternatives. The main caveat is the unlock and service timing, since the phones need about 60 days of paid service and activation details can affect the clock.

All the TW, ST & TF sims work if service is active - but can stop abruptly if phone isn't registered/activated correctly.

Again, Phones require 60 days of new paid service to unlock once the phone is registered on any of the brands - carry over service won't count so existing plan doesn't qualify. Even if it were a TW phone carryover service wouldn't count towards unlock.

Playing around with sim only causes problems, it's possible your phone could get automatically registered to wrong system - best to leave it in the original phone before you screw up the unlock.
I can confirm it screwed it up and appears to be registered to total now and I can't activate on straight talk now. It says it's registered to another network...oops

Can u give the price split and how free
Well, I consider it nearly free (to me), as I value the monthly plans on these phone deals at $15/month, which is basically as cheap as they get when buying prepaid.

So breakdown in my case ($94 for phone + tablet) - $21 Amex CB - $10 (CB site) = $63

4 months of service = $60.

So around $3 for the tablet + phone.

Now if folks don't value the plans as worth anything, then it's not quite as cheap.

If you want to buy a phone now, you can do that, although to use that coupon you'd need 2 lines, so I guess stylus + samsung cheapie?

Probably best to just check with Straight Talk and ask them if that tablet is coming back in stock, and perhaps when.

I have both the phone and tablet, but from Total. I had purchased two of the phones from Total and they are already unlocked. While on the second month, I added this tablet for $35 + $10 monthly unlimited data plan (after $40 bundle discount for service). Activated this tablet yesterday and it's been quite good.

Unsure about Straight Talk, but Total has a Stay Connected Talk & Text for $10/month available by chatting with customer service. After getting the tablet for the discounted price with the higher plan for the first month, the $10 unlimited tablet data apply to any voice plan including the $10 Talk & Text.

Both are decent options given the price. Make sure you include the cost for second month of phone service, if looking to unlock it. Tablet is not locked.

So TF consider it as BYOD or will you be able to request TF CS to unlock after 2 months?

Some cell phone adventurers have practiced something known as "re-branding" - purchasing a phone intended for one budget VZ provider and activating on a different but compatible brand - Straight Talk/Total Wireless/Tracfone

Unlocking gets tricky if you try to swap around AFTER activating. If you wish to attempt rebranding you would have to do it before activating on Straight Talk. I will receive my package tomorrow to evaluate the status of enclosed devices.

I won't attempt any rebrands - I will simply pay the second month either with Silver or Bronze plans depending on the value of all the hardware I receive.

I did a successful rebrand one time in the past - bought an iPhone super cheap via Walmart intended for Straight Talk but then got it unlocked by doing the initial activation using a compatible but lower-cost TF plan. This was before the policy change of two months paid/active service to earn unlock.

Just because SIM cards can be swapped around does not mean your unlock privileges are protected. If problems occur at the 60 day mark you have to open a customer support ticket and if they jerk you around you might consider a complaint with the FCC but those are happening so frequently this year the complaint might fall on deaf ears.

Verifying I can let service lapse and then purchase a single extra month to finish unlocking? Decided to buy a second moto stylus a week after the first with the 2nd line discount and activated both, but If I try to renew services it attempts to match up service dates with the first phone which would renew the 2nd phone at less than 60 days paid after 2nd renewal. Figured I can let them both lapse then buy a 2nd month at that point to finish the process

You can pursue unlock via a customer support ticket if unlock does not happen automatically. It is going to take an AI to memorize every scenario across all the VZ budget brands.

VZ the parent company is trying to do away with the deal they made with the FCC to offer unlock on all devices - it was what allowed them to buy some valuable spectrum back in the day.

This is the way. I won't fool around with re-branding.

My experience has been the same, doesn't have to be continuous (as long as you don't wait too long). It's likely they talked to a poorly trained rep - there's a lot that don't have a clue & give out incorrect information.
Thanks 👍

Will a TF customer support agent unlock said device once 60 days service elapse?
