No, it should be less. The tablet is already 3 months of data, so don't need to pay more for it. The phones can switch to $35 / mo plan for 2nd month, so just $70 more. So total $190 unlocked after 2 months.

Similarly,
some people might have this in their Amex Offers:
Straight Talk - Smartphones, Prepaid Plans & More
Spend $45 or more, earn $20
Expires 3/31/26

1 phone + 1 tab is $90 (+ tax)
2 phones + 1 tab is $120 (+ tax)

Tab comes with 3 month service and it is already unlocked
For the phones, We need another 1 month service. We can use $35 bronze plan to unlock it

Amex $20 back /Chase 15% has offers

(Very few people has success with buying Walmart $25 Straight Talk top up card & there are some, who rebranded the phone to Tracfone and then bought 90 days plan for $20 and unlocked the phone)

Tab promotion is limited to one per account

Can I ask you a dumb question? Is it possible to transfer my Google Fi number to straight talk when activation? And after 2 months, I transfer back to Google Fi. Is it possible and worthy?
Anyone know whether is it possible to transfer my Google Fi number to straight talk when activation?

I got two Styluses today. Haven't activated them yet.

Do you know if it is possible to order the TCL tablet and two phones as you got, and only pay for three extra lines? Should I activate Styluses before to get multi-line discount and get those devices free?

Thanks in advance!
Multi-line discounts are not a short-term deal - those will happen automatically as you add more lines to the existing account.

I saw notes that certain deals were meant to end by midnight 12/31. You should log in to your account and see if they are still offering this same deal - I am wishing I bought two Samsung devices instead of one Power 5G and one Samsung. Security updates matter to anyone using the phone as a daily driver. I did see the Stylus phones getting a September 2025 security update for Android 15. Samsung phone updated all the way to Android 16 and it looks like it will get frequent security updates.

I'm not sure what specific benefit you are hoping to achieve.

In terms of the Straight Talk site - once you sign in and click "activate" the G Stylus appear in your account - you get the choice of a new number or a transfer of existing number - however the phone will lock to Straight Talk at the "carrier" level once you do first activation. Since it is carrier locked I doubt you could add your Fi line until after you unlock 60 days later.

You could try to activate the device on your Fi account using eSIM but then any future unlocking would be up to the terms of Google Fi. This trick used to work for any phone sold on the shelf at any big box store - not sure it would hurt you if you try to activate on Fi and the Google site declares it ineligible/incompatible - you would then have to proceed with a Straight Talk activation - no harm, no foul.

I've activated both lines now (1:41AM, 04/01/26) but it shows only 28 days left! I thought it should be 30 days of service since activation? I received the phones a few days ago.
It says I need to refill the lines February 02. Should I worry about that? Besides not getting 30 days of service, will I have issues with 60 days of paid service to get phones unlocked, because they already cut days of my service initially?
First time, don't really understand how to deal with this.
It is possible that the service clock was started on the more advanced devices - the Moto G stylus. I saw that their SIMs were already listed in the activation page along with the IMEI. I had to type in the IMEI of the lower end phones - the Samsung A16 and the Moto Power 5G.

Just checked - for me all my devices need renewal on 1/31/26 - exactly 28 days after activating but exactly 30 days after shipping from CEVA wireless

60 days of active service is required for an unlock, though the service does not have to be continuous.
Sorry where is stated it does not need to be continuous? Thanks.

Just activate the phones at the same time (or buy 2 more free Samsung phones - $25-30 more activate all at the same time, then refill all ~100+tax, with only 2 about $75 refill)!

Tnx on the info, that's what I need to know.
It's little bit different with StraightTalk, the last one I had it's auto, but it might change.

I don't care for the tablet. Can I just buy two phones for $75 and have them on ST for two months to unlock?

Also in the same boat. I activated on 01/04 and counted out the days, it's 30 days of service if it says it runs til the 2nd.

Is there a cheaper place to buy $45 straight talk plan?
Or whatever the cheapest plan that will automatically make phones unlocked.

Same thing happened to me - showed 28 days remaining on the day I received & activated. My first month of service ran out a few days ago and I deliberately let it lapse. I called the unlocking department to see how many more days of paid service were required to unlock. They confirmed I only need 30 more days. I haven't pulled the trigger on buying a second month yet, so I can't guarantee anything, but it seems they do record the full 30 days of initial service on their end, at least anecdotally.

The tablet is back in stock now, however I can't seem to trigger the offer of both the free phone and the free tablet anymore, even though the website still prompts me of the free tablet offer.

Called ST support, apparently they're "escalating" the problem. Not sure if that will help with anything though.
Meanwhile, the 8" tablet still works for the promo so IDK what's wrong with their system

Did you ask them by any chance whether you can but extra month later or it must be 60 days of service without interruption to be eligible for unlock?
