The Ninja Woodfire outdoor pizza oven stands out for easy, fast pizza making and more flexible cooking than a typical high end pizza oven. It can produce well charred bottoms and well cooked tops, and it also handles onion rings and even bread. Sticking is the main practical hurdle, but cornmeal, semolina flour, or parchment paper help a lot. The 700 degree ceiling is enough for quick pies, though it may fall short for true Neapolitan style pizza.

Common Questions (5)

  • Dust the dough, peel, and counter with plenty of fine semolina flour, or use cornmeal or parchment paper. Parchment can be removed after a minute or two and may char, which makes launching the pizza much easier.

  • It is marketed as reaching 700°F, but that temperature is described as the low end for Neapolitan-style pizza. It can still make good pizza, but it is not in the same heat range as a gas or wood-fired Ooni for true neo pies.

  • It can make very good pizza, but 700°F is considered too low for true Neapolitan-style results compared with hotter gas or wood-fired ovens. It is better suited to easy, fast pizza with good charring than to chasing a full neo-pizza setup.

  • Yes. It can also bake or air-fry foods like onion rings, and it has been used for bread as well. The oven is described as more flexible than higher-end pizza ovens for a wider range of cooking tasks.

  • After preheating, it can cook a pizza in about 3 minutes. It also produces strong bottom charring while cooking the top well.

Too bad 700°F isn't hot enough for neapolitan pizza.

Very tempting 1. Anyone confirmed it truly reaches 700? 2. Does it work well for steaks? 3. Why it's specifically outdoor? Too smoky? Doesn't meet indoor safety requirements?

I got this last time. Used it a few times and works great when the dough doesn't stick to the counter.

P.s.: if anyone one has a bullet proof recipe for home made dough please share
Go straight to the recipe, follow the instructions, very easy with 5 minutes of hand kneading: https://www.sipandfeast.com/homem...ork-pizza/
Hydration is the key, don't rush it.

To bad this doesn't support a 14 inch pizza. 12 is a little small.

I haven't actually made pizza in this, but use it for smoking semi regularly. It works adequately, you can use any brand pellets. It's a huge PITA to clean though.
