How does this stack up against other 5080 setups I've seen that were closer to $2,600-$2,800?

Just the CPU and GPU are about 2k retail.

A 5080 16GB is 1600 regular price and the r7 9800X3d is 480.

Looking to replace my current PCthat has an rx5700xt and an r7 3700x. this looks attractive but I'm not familiar with the prebuilt companies at all.

The current market has made it feel like best value is prebuilts over custom builds which is what I was doing previously.

From what I've been hearing Skytech is a step above iBuypower and CyberpowerPC. Unlike the latter they allegedly don't cheap out on parts and actually do benchmark tests before shipping out their units. I'm contemplating this one myself.

Currently have an iBuypower from 2019 that hasn't been too bad, but I'm looking for something more future proof/buy before prices get even crazier.

(Looks like XMASS coupon expired. Oh well...)
