bought this a month ago. Nowhere near as big as it looks. Not very heavy duty either.

Yes, because the average homeowner has 8 drills
Unlikely. But 8 power tools? Sure. Ratchet, Sawzall, impacts, drills, trimmer, multi tool etc

Everyone thinks they're so clever with this response every time, but I bought this last month and could actually use MORE slots! I do have 3 drills (impact, standard, concrete) but it equally fits my ratchet, air pump, grinder, flashlight and a number of other items would fit. This thing just works y'all!

Real handymen do. I have maxed out my rack for 8 cordless.

Yep. Same. I've got way more than 8 power tools. But I do basic car maintenance, so have car tools, too. Impacts of different sizes, polisher/sanders, etc.

Plus some stuff I should get rid of since I've upgraded but still have the old stuff "just in case".

This is exactly correct. The tool trays on the bottom bend quite a bit when a tool hanging. Even worse if you have the battery attached like shown in the photo.

Overall it's super cheap and "meh" at best. Maybe just some super cheap, light weight walmart tools would be fine. But I ended up returning as I didn't trust it to hold proper DeWalt tools, even without the battery installed.

It's the same inane comment every time one of these racks gets posted - some naif just can't comprehend that anyone would have multiple tools in their garage or workshop and they have to make sure everyone is aware of their total disbelief that such a thing exists. Sheesh.

I usually don't store my battery tools in garage because of the temperature. Can someone correct me here? Temperature in garage does not impact battery life? TIA.

Woot had the same item for $28.99 10-19-2025 and I feel like I paid twice what they are actually worth. Not heavy duty at all and as someone else pointed out they are much smaller than is shown in the picture, I realized that when I saw the dimensions posted but figured I would give it a chance, you win some you lose some...this was a loser for sure.

Good move not storing batteries in your garage. Batteries don't like large temperature changes. If you store them, partially charged (20-80%) in your basement, you'll get much better life out of batteries.

This stuff is junk. I've got one and it starts bending after you put tools on it. Hasn't dropped anything yet but it's not great.
