LG over Samsung always from experience. A lot of Samsung electronics have failed on me to ensure I don't buy these anymore.

you are just completely wrong. It's been around for 5-10 years. thousands and thousands of customers. stop spreading your uninformed misinformation.

Samsung's S90F is a bright QD OLED TV that stands out for punchy color, strong HDR performance, and especially good dark room picture quality. The 77 inch model is the QD OLED version, and the newer panel is often described as a step up for color luminance and overall impact. The main tradeoffs are no Dolby Vision, possible raised blacks in bright rooms, and some concern about Samsung panel quality and support. Pricing also appears inconsistent, with tax sometimes added at checkout and direct Samsung or open box options sometimes landing close to the deal price.

I can never get any of the modes (adaptive, movie, filmmaker) or motion to look good on my S89c. Meanwhile my LG OLED has looked perfect out of the box. It's so frustrating. I will never buy another Samsung OLED

I'll be getting one myself but near the end of the month. I was set on the C5 until I spent about 15 minutes looking at both at Costco and couldn't see the raised blacks on the S90F while looking for them. The lack of Dolby Vision is mostly irrelevant with how bright these models are too.
This sounds refreshing. Mine comes in tomorrow morning.

Yeah no Dolby Vision, equals outdated product. My A80J is like 4 years old and has the feature. Shame Samsung handicapped these nice OLEDs.
They went with a different technology HDR10/HDR10+

That's correct! With Samsung being such a power house in tvs, companies are making their whole libraries to HDR10+

No EPP or EDU, seems like everyone on here finds a way to fake them.

Odd that they would only be willing to sell to a small subset of people if there's profit to be made in the competitive 65" size. The C5 has had more consistent sales.

Rough deal, they had it for $1,200 new for Thanksgiving. Prices getting WORSE somehow.

At this stage might just wait another year, waited 10 years to update anyways.
