This is still a good deal as it's not much slower, new and has more VRAM which is good for longevity. You should still look up benchmarks to check if whatever games you're looking to play are not broken, though this is now rare.
Oh, you should also check and see if your system supports "resizable BAR" as this card will not run well without it enabled.

I don't think 5060 Tis are great values. I'd look at a 5070 as well or a RX 9060 XT 16GB for that matter.

Currently on a 5700xt but lacks Ray Tracing and can't stand having to full blast the fans to keep it from overheating (known AMD issue).

The results are interesting. I don't think this is a card for everyone.
On Windows, with mainstream modern games, it performs well overall. With older games, it is hit or miss. Many games run perfectly but certainly not all. Some examples:
- In Star Wars, Knights of the Old Republic 2(2005), some of the UI elements don't render
- In Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag(2013), enabling MSAA causes improper display and application crashes
- Return to Castle Wolfenstein(2001) simply didn't launch
I only tested 15 games, so finding 3 with issues is material in my opinion. That being said, a lot of people aren't playing games from 20 years ago so this might not matter to you. This probably won't matter to most people but on Linux, my results are much more dire. Performance is mostly bad and many modern games have major compatibility issues. It is bad enough that I am wondering if I am doing something wrong there.
