poor reviews on amazon make it seem unreliable to get a well formed and working machine after assembly. why promote this?

The poor reviews are a small percentage (13% 1 - 2 stars of over 10K reviews) and most reviews are positive, what makes you say it's unreliable?

My perspective: If the plastic molds were made correctly and tested, then were would not be any reviews about the parts not fitting together. These reviews indicate the item production is not high quality. There are likely more people that did not take the time to write a negative reviews from this fitment issue and simply discarded the product.

We can't see the reality of all current parts produced, if they all fit when assembled, and whether item works as intended. Considering the item photos show that the end user has to cut out the pieces from the mold, it seems unlikely that the manufacturer is able to test before packaging the item.
Buyer beware. I would rather not be the beta tester for something that is not ready for final production.
