This looks to be a different version, but fwiw I had the Lisen phone mount that was the number 1 recommendation on Amazon with thousands of five star reviews.

First time using it my brand new phone flew off and cracked the screen when I went over a manhole cover at speed. I thought it was a fluke and maybe I forgot to lock the mount... until the 2nd time my phone flew off and I was 100% sure I had locked it.

I switched to quad lock. It's way more expensive but in my experience not worth cheaping out on something that can ruin your much more expensive device.

I've messed up one of my cameras before on a stiff mount so this is probably a good idea. I ended up using the bag phone holder and that works well. It give the phone plenty of shock absorption.

Just use an arm strap. The bike still can vibrate pretty heavily and consistently, but at least on your arm you know just how much its being thrashed around and can mitigate it actively.
