I really like Prana and wear a lot of it but quality is hit or miss these days. Some pieces are great and last forever, others start pilling within the first two washes. I think Columbia is trying to differentiate all their portfolio brands (Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, Prana) and Prana is definitely the Cali-cool, yoga wear segment. I wouldn't recommend much of their clothes for anything more intense than rock climbing, yoga, or casual wear

100%. I'd go so far as definitely not recommending them for rock climbing. I've had Zions last for years rock climbing, and the last two pairs using the new fabric were pilling and getting picked on the first use. I now use them to change oil and mow grass. It feels like a hardcore brand that went full lifestyle.

Best pants I've ever owned. Waterproof, thin, light, breathable, etc. I bought my first pair for hiking in the jungles of Vietnam and loved it so much, I now wear it for my daily pants.
